SSDP - Shangrila Sustainable Development Project

By means of a new mikrocredit system the villagers in Jumla and Mughu in Westnepal are enabled to better their living conditions sustainably and self-confidently.

SSP - Shangrila Scholarship Program

Not every family can afford school fees - because we will support 230 childs from poor familys. So they can break the cycle of poverty and achieve a good education degree.

SOH - Shangrila Orphanage Home

The new orphanage started in Dec. 2000. Today 51 children have found a new home and a new family here. It all started with an idea. It all started with a rent flat for 5 children ...

SCBIDP - Shangrila Community Based Integrated Development Project

In villages in the regions Jumla and Mughu in Westnepal self empowering workshops and local projects are planned, organozed and realized together with the local villages' population.

NEOPANE

After the construction of 10 new toilets, representatives of the associations 'Bauen und Begegnen' and the 'Govinda Development Aid' decided together also to reconstruct the whole school building ...

SVTC - Shangrila Vocational Training Center

Having a vocational training in Nepal is still rather the exception than normality. To enable the students of SIS to find jobs after their school life they can gain practical experience and get a certificate in several standard professions.

SIS - Shangrila International School

This school is a new construction and since its inauguration in 2002 there ein is a pleasant environment for learning with good equipment (PCs, laboratory, wind & solar power, ...) and modern pedagogical teaching methods. Today there are about 500 students.

PISDIM

This PISDIM project running for 3 years in cooperation with the Back to life accociation. In the project border we will support residents of four village in region Mughu to build toilette, stoves with chimney to outside and solar tools. Thats all in connection with microcredit system and a awareness training.
