Also we employed: Didi for cooking - a 53 year old widow called Aama (mother), Meena, Mina and Keshar as nannies (and housekeepers), Achyut Paudel the orphanage manager, Amika and Debuki also for cooking, the gardener, as well as Deepak as computer trainer and practical instructor. Our employees get accommodation, food, clothing and medical supply for free and a good salary compared to Nepalese conditions.

Since our landlord despite several requests didn't care about fixing the unsatisfactory power and water supply, which caused injurious health conditions for our kids, we canceled the house lease.

We moved to a new, ample, more naturally situated and above all a finished house in Patan. This new home allows the admission of 25-30 orphans.

After 8 month construction time the own home for up to 50 orphans was finished in Chapagaon / Neopane. The site which is about 8900 m² is an ideal playground for the children. Also the both main buildings offer with more than 1000 m² ample floor space for living.
A computer training centre and a educational workshop for woodworking have also been built. The new wood playing ground, the soccer goal, the basketball basket, the volleyball net and the garden offer the kids a lot of possibilities for playing and enjoyment. |

Since February 2002 Laxmi and Krishna - a cow and her calf - live on our land. Because of Laxmi our children also have some fresh milk instead of just always milk powder.
